As the nights draw in, what better way to welcome the advent of winter than to snuggle up at a cosy inn and drink rum?
Styled like a pirate’s drinking den and replete with barrels and rigging, rum, cocktails and ice cream are all on offer – and there are also daily masterclasses (that include ‘A Brief History of Rum’), as well as speciality rum tasting, and nitro ice cream sessions.
But that’s not all; as the rest of Seven Dials are getting in on the action, too! Collect a wristband and visit the tastings, pop ups and cocktail parties that will be taking place at bars, shops and clubs throughout the area. Our favourites include the Hendrick’s Gin Mobile Library outside Vidal Sassoon (serving up readings as well as G&Ts), and Fever-Tree’s Botanical Bicycle, in front of the Albam shop on Monmouth Street.
The London Cocktail Week vintage Routemaster buses are also on hand to offer free transport to other LCW venues across the city, and will leave from Centre Point at 7pm and 9pm.
Rum lovers be warned: Smatts Rum & Ice Cream Shack will be busy. As there is only space for 30 people, we recommend you book in advance. For more details on London Cocktail Week, and to sign up for wristbands go to: londoncocktailweek.com.
