Got that back to school feeling? Those summer nights aren’t over yet! You don’t need a brand new pencil case and geometry set to get you in the mood for the new school year – this weekend (7th – 9th September) a secret corner of Barnes Common in south west London will be transformed into the hallways of the one and only Rydell High for a totally new interpretation of Grease.
Thanks to Future Cinema – who have revolutionised the humble cinema ticket with their full scale, theatrical interpretations of films like Prometheus and Ghostbusters – greasers and Grease fans alike can expect to hang at the Frosty Palace diner, be a beauty school dropout at Frenchy’s house or check out cheerleaders and footballers on the playing fields, all before watching a special screening of the classic film (where you might just find that you’re born to hand jive). Slick back your hair and shrug on the leather, or become a Pink Lady and enrol for an unforgettable day at Rydell High. After all, Grease is the word.
