Luxury cinemas in London are two-a-penny nowadays, but the opulent screening room at Leicester Square’s W Hotel brings something new to the table – especially for those who like their movies Michelin-starred.
Their swanky 39-seater, HD, state-of-the-art cinema is the setting for the W Film Club – a fortnightly screening of latest film releases, that kicks off on October 27 with the widely anticipated adaptation of Kerouac classic, ‘On the Road’.
Posh cinema goers will also have the option of enjoying a Michelin starred pre-cinema bite or late-night dinner at the hotel’s Asian-inspired restaurant, Spice Market. Their Film Club menu includes a bento box accompanied by a Raspberry Lychee Bellini for £20 per person.
The W Film Club will take place every other Tuesday at 8pm, and its upcoming movies include some of this autumn’s biggest and best. Action thriller Looper, heist movie Killing Them Softly and book bestseller Life of Pi are all part of the programme.
